Before you begin I would recommend that if it is possible, do some form of exercise to shake off surface tension, such as a brisk walk, some yoga or even simply dancing around the room to up-beat music, just to release pent up energy. It is much easier to relax when you have worked and stretched the muscles, even a little. You will notice that it’s difficult to feel anxious or tense when your muscles are relaxed.
